We seem to forget what Love is while we grow up, have our education and get to live in this sect that I call: “our society”. We were given Love before birth! Love; the intention for which it has been given to us (through GOD, Jesus, mother earth, the universe,… you call it what you want) is to continue to pass Love here on earth and to be in peace with each other, to learn from each other, to BE Love.
Gradually we grow up, learn differently and meet people with other standards and values but actually we are forgetting THAT WE ARE ALL THE SAME . We meet up with competition, obsession, jealousy, materialism, ego tripping, science and religion differences that are making us feel uncomfortable with ourselves. We are forgetting where we came from! Love is NOT rude, demanding, jealous… Love is PATIENT and KIND. Love never gives up, never loses Faith, is always Hopeful and endures through every circumstance.
I am not saying that life is not ment to be lived without pain, suffering, anxiety, sadness, happiness, joy, etc. We have chosen to be in a body, so we feel… Without all these emotions we couldn’t learn and develope ourselves as human being. The problem is that we get obsessed by our feelings including Love. We panic in our feelings and don’t know how to deal with it. You begin to think that you ARE this feeling. Your mind is only messing with you! You are NOT this feeling. It is there for a reason… If your past was negative, don’t take the negativity within your futur and present moment, because it was there to teach you something better. You are NOT that negativity. Keep the confidence inside of you. God is in you, He is there to protect you and you will be alright anyhow, anywhere, anytime… You just have to BELIEVE and dare to DREAM. Do you feel lost in your mind/feelings from time to time? Take TIME, be quiet with yourself, get rest, meditate, pray, do yoga, be artistic… You will learn how to LISTEN to yourself and it will TEACH you what to do. You have the right to take time in your own life to see and to listen what is happening there.
Love is US, Love is ME, Love is YOU, Love is this planet, Love is the sky, Love is nature around you.. Everything is connected. You are ONE, you are UNIQUE. There is only ONE like you on earth. You better take care of YOU.
When we were children, Love wasn’t hard to express, tears and emotions weren’t hard to handle. Why do we change this while growing up? Why do we get shallow and why do we hide it when it comes to MUTUAL love (love between 2 persons)? Because it’s hard to leave your trust and love in the RIGHT persons’ hands once you have put them in the WRONG persons’ hand? Is he/she right enough to take care of my love, my heart, my trust, my soul, etc? But that’s the point!! There is NO right or wrong! It’s just the way it is; the way for you to learn. If it didn’t work out then there was just no balance, no same values, no same visions,… but it’s not WRONG. It’s the way to accept something better is coming your way, because you felt something was missing and that is a very STRONG thing, it’s called self knowledge/self confidence. You know who you are and you know what you (don’t) want! Be proud of the situations you have been through, the problems you had to deal with… They were there for a reason, always!
Unfortunately, if we keep listening to our past mistakes, if we continue believing those feelings, if we keep letting our minds messing with us and if we keep ignoring/refusing our heart, we will also continue making the SAME mistakes over and over again. If you are conscious of this someday a soul is going to walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else…
When you already love yourself for the way you are, it’s easier to find that person that does exactly the same, because BOTH your eyes are open to love the world around you that is NON ego. And when there is a Pure Love between 2 persons, from the SOUL, God blesses this relationship. Because a Pure Love is there to pass to others, it’s divine, it’s magic, it’s God himself and God will protect and react as a third person, watching over you and your partner/friend/family member. If you make each other smile, you pass this smile through other people. If you inspire your own love through each other, you get to inspire other people.
Open up your hearts and you will open other people’s hearts. That is our LIFE goal, that is our PURPOSE! Jesus said it, Martin Luther King said, it, Ghandi said it,… and we are spreading the word more and more. Do you feel this? Do you feel the energies? We are spreading Love, the way it is meant to be…

2 weeks ago, on a sunny Sunday afternoon, I met an amazing artist, known by the name BEN HEINE ( http://www.benheine.com) , in the Astrid parc of Anderlecht (Brussels, Belgium).
Already by first impression, I knew an interesting collaboration would take place and magnificent results would follow…
Ben is a multi talented visual artist and we had both one thing in common: we both love PEOPLE and love to interact with them. So we agreed on telling a story through VISUAL ART by our own professional experiences: he as the visual artist (photographer) and me as the expressive one (model).
His work has been PUBLISHED in international newspapers and magazines and has been EXHIBITED worldwide (Cape Verde, Spain, Germany, Brazil, USA, France, etc.). I admire his skills and soft but strong personality which are key for his success. I can see how he puts his heart and soul in his work, which makes him stand out.
Here bellow I am showing you ONE of his visual projects, which is called “Pencil Vs Camera”. Every picture has a poetic story behind it… Just use your IMAGINATION and enjoy its art… I love his drawing and photography. Compassion
Compassion is not religious business. It is human business. It is not luxury. It is essential for our own mental stability. It is essential for human survival. By compassion we make other’s misery our own, and so, by relieving them, we relieve ourselves also. Compassion is a two way street. And if you can’t find it in your own heart to be compassionate, look in someone else’s before giving up on love altogether. Try not to see the other person as an outsider. For them who live with the biggest heart, the whole world is their family.
Show compassion towards yourself in order to be compassionate towards the world.

Who is saying love is blind?… while She is the only one that sees everything very sharply. She discovers beauty where others never notice… Love says “I feel differently” and not “You are wrong”, there is no right or wrong: like a baby that is not better or worse than a teenager or an adult. There is this kind of love that doesn’t ask, but gives… and keeps on giving, even when nothing returns. Stop searching! There is no way to love, because love is the way. There are 3 stages when it comes to love… I will write about that in my next article.

Let me tell you more about my experience yesterday as……. an Assistant Director. Yes, I was!!
And also… how 1 team creates more than only a commercial video…
A creative and talented Director, Frederik Sonck (company Still Moving at Antwerp) and friend offered me a chance to assist him on the set of the musical Domino. He is an amazing human being with great interpersonal skills.
We made a commercial video for television and my task consisted in coordinating the film crew (director of photography, crane operator, camera assistant, etc) and the follow up of the scenario.
I’ve worked with Frederik before, but I was so delighted to work with him on this project as this musical, Domino, is now known as the most famous musical in Belgium with very talented actors! YES! Awesome to stand amongst them all.
At approximately 9:30 am we started with breakfast sweets, coffee and some jokes . Secondly we began to build the crane, the décor, started to style and make up the artists, went trough are call sheet and scenario, made some adjusments, had a quick lunch, etc. At 12:30 pm we finally started filming!
Seeing the action, the motivation of all actors and creatives, feeling those vibes on set and behind the scenes was amazing to witness! I’ve seen it as a Makeup Artist, but it’s not the same. As a Makeup Artist you are practically obliged to stay in de Makeup/Styling area because schedules are always so tight. But as the Assistant Director I was able to be everywhere and to see everything.
I can tell you though… it’s a huge responsibility and a stressful job. There are some skills that are key for this job: being able to communicate directly but diplomatically with the crew, know how to handle stress situations, perseverance, self-control, team player, listener, organizer, creative, understanding conflict and cooperation work, 1-to-1 communication with the Director, etc.
But even then… with the experience I had and with the great team I have worked with, it was all worthwhile! And I tell you something more… What I have liked the most during this entire long but fulfulling day, is the team spirit! Because of that, it did not feel like we were working at all! The fact alone that I am now writing about it on this blog, says it all! It makes sense…
I could easily do my job, because there were no judgements. There was understanding and confidence, a “togetherness”. We were all thinking the same thing, having the same motivation and the same passion. It’s so important to feel the satisfaction in your work and I could feel that in each and everyone…
After filming at 7:30 pm, we had a drink all together to celebrate to end of the joyful collaboration! Exhausted….. but Santé!!

- All products are dermatologically and allergologically tested
- All ingredients are described and documented and are beneficial to the skin
- As many as possible of the ingredients are indentic to what exists naturally already in the skin

- Animal friendly produtcs
- All products contain valuable plant oils, NO mineral oils and NO paraffins
- All decisions are made by competent scientists who are also the founders of the company
- The liposomes are skin-related. The are able to transport other skin-friendly active substances into the skin (eg. vitamins)
You are litteraly caring for your skin with SKIN! “Say what???”
The multilamellar liposomes are comprised of the same lipids as human skin cells! These lipids and the ceramides which we use as important components of the intercellular substance between de skin cells. With these liposome products you are treating your skin wich exactly the same substances which occur in the skin naturally, and will therefore agree with the skin. That’s why it is SOOOO important that your products do NOT contain perfume, chemical preservatives and mineral oils! These will show 0 effectiveness or even worse… your skin will get irritated after a while (maybe even after 10 years or more, allergies sometimes pop up out of no where!).
If you are used to have a delicious fragrance in your daily skin care products, it will take a while to get used to these “no smell” products. But then again… Does your skin needs perfume? No! It needs the natural essential substances to stay young, clean, moisturized and refreshed. Also… the packiging are very standard, but I don’t mind though! I prefer having great moisturized clean skin, than having cute packaging.
You can also choose which products you want if you are depending on your budget! You have low budget products (Beaucaire), average (Dr. Baumann classic) and expensive (SkinIdent, all skin identical substances for your skin!!). The more expensive you go, the more concentrated and effective the products are. I began with the low budget products and I am now using the average ones (Dr. Baumann classic). I, personally, prefer using the expensive SkinIdent products (the more concentrated) when I am a 30+.

Oh yes, I forgot something! The products are ONLY available at reknowed beauty salons which you can find on their website also. They don’t invest in publicity, only through WORD OF MOUTH. They rather prefer to invest in R&D and to create high standing products than to invest in huge marketing campaigns (that is also why the packaging is standard).

I’d like to write something about “attachment”. We live in an environment where we get attached to things and people very easily. And it makes us suffer. It makes us so afraid of losing it or someone, that it makes us unhappy and uncontrollable.
It’s difficult sometimes to stay very close to yourself, to have confidence in yourself and to never forget who you are and where you came from if you want to stay on your path. In order to keep you on your own path created for you… be alone, take your time, relax once and a while, meditate, go for a walk, be quiet, try not to think, do something you are passionate about, let it go, observe and accept your feelings.
Nothing or no one may or can change you for the way you are and visa versa. You can’t change people. You better accept them for who they are and go on with your life, rather than trying to change that person because you are too attached to him/her and too afraid to loose him/her. That’s crazy! You can as well live your life with your eyes closed. And don’t be afraid to fear. Fear is just a feeling. Don’t let it own you! Feelings (pain, joy, anger, madness, …) come and go. When you accept that the feeling comes, you will also accept that it goes away… Where you may find a shadow right now, be sure that there is always a light not far from there… Always!
And things are just things… it did not came with you when you were born, it does not leave with you when you die. You think you own these things and start to build your identity on the basis of the material belongings you have. You are here for a purpose that is non materialistic if you are conscient about it. It’s a choice you make. Being attached to things prevents us from feeling free and to enjoy the fullness of life!
A person is truely happy and free and enjoys his belongings only if he can live without what he owns. It does not mean you have to give up everything. You are only addicted to every item for which you’d say: “I can not do it without”, “He/She/It means everything to me”, “I must get it at every price”, “Only that can make me happy”.
How do you release yourself from the addiction?
Stop holding it tight. The more you hold on, the more you have to loose. Relax and let go. Know that nothing is eternal and nothing is your only possession. Do not fear of losing something/someone that you do not possess anyway. Live at the present, here and now. Life always goes on and everything changes continuously. Some things come, some things go. Sometimes things have to go, in order to make space for new things to come. Stop identifying yourself with your house, your car, your job,… Your inner idenitity, your true self will still remain no matter what! Searching for happiness and security in material things is an illusion. It’s all to find inside of you. So, discover your own strength. Have trust in what you believe. It will provide you with what you need. Your belief is what keeps you calm and happy.
